Balmoral Estate Restaurant

The briefWe were asked to design a modern energy efficient kitchen introducing equipment that will aid the speed, efficiency, and consistency of service. As well as creating a kitchen to service the busy restaurant, we were also asked to incorporate a production area for the making of jams, preserves and other products.

The action: We utilised some existing equipment such as two Electrolux Gas combination ovens and some refrigerated items for making allowances within the M+E scope to replace in the future with more energy-efficient units and make the future growth of the kitchen easier. To incorporate the production area, we installed an I-combi pro from Rational and a 20 grid roll in blast chiller.

The result: There was a very tight timeline for this project and our suppliers pulled out all the stops to enable us to deliver this project on time and within budget.
