Mortlach Memorial Hall

C&M Kitchen Engineers transformed a small, outdated kitchen into a modern, efficient catering facility designed to meet the client's requirements for community events and functions.

The project included a complete kitchen refurbishment with bespoke stainless steel fabrication, incorporating a new preparation sink, a dishwasher sink with an inset hand wash basin, and additional worktops and storage. We replaced the existing gas burner with an energy-efficient induction hob and installed two stacked convection ovens to improve cooking capacity and performance. Additional wall shelving, stainless steel cupboards, and a mobile sliding-door storage cabinet were also provided to maximise storage in the compact space.

The refurbishment was completed with a new extraction canopy and hygienic stainless steel finishes throughout, creating a practical, easy-to-maintain kitchen with improved workflow, increased storage, and enhanced energy efficiency.
