Design & Installation
At C&M Kitchen Engineers, commercial kitchen design is a core part of our service. We create bespoke, practical solutions for cafés, restaurants, pubs, hotels, schools, care homes, farm shops and other catering operations. From compact independent premises to large commercial kitchens, every design focuses on efficient workflow, compliance, energy efficiency, durability and long term performance.
Our Design & Installation Process
1. Consultation & Site Survey
Every project begins with an initial consultation, site visit and survey. We take the time to understand your menu, operation, workflow and budget, along with any site constraints, available services and electrical capacity.
2. Concept Design & 3D Visuals
We develop a concept layout supported by realistic 3D visuals, allowing you to see how your new kitchen will look and operate. We also provide a detailed quotation based on your requirements and budget. This initial concept design stage is provided free of charge, giving you the opportunity to review and refine the proposal before deciding whether to proceed.
3. Equipment Selection & M+E Drawings
Once the design is approved and we are appointed to proceed, we select and specify commercial catering equipment suited to your menu, capacity, budget and available services. We also prepare coordinated Mechanical and Electrical (M+E) layout drawings to support accurate service connections and a smooth installation process.
4. Installation & Handover
Our experienced engineers manage the installation, commissioning and final handover, ensuring the work is completed safely, efficiently and to a high standard.Throughout the project, we work closely with owners, chefs, architects and contractors to coordinate every stage, from design and equipment supply through to final installation.
5. Aftercare & Ongoing Support
Our service continues after handover. We provide ongoing technical support, repairs and Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) packages to protect your investment and keep your commercial kitchen operating efficiently in the long term.
